"I try to let my pictures flourish and develop on the day of the shoot. This makes more sense to me than strategic planning. My aim is to keep things simple and allow outside influences to play a big part in the whole creative process."text by Lena Mododigh

Lena moved away from Stockholm when she 19 years old. Her first stop New Zealand, working on a farm, then New York, working on various independent films, followed by London, where she worked as a full- time assistant. She now divides her time between Stockholm and London shooting various projects and commissions.

Her father was a keen amateur photographer, who started taking simple pictures of flowers, the family, and of road trips. Then about once every month they would have a slideshow, a bit like a movie night. From that Lena thinks were the roots, that started her interest in photography.
