From this derived his project Loch Ness, where Stoker combines portraiture and landscape with interviews of locals to investigate what draws people to the shores of Loch Ness.

Jamie states, 'In the modern world that we live in with mass media and advanced technology, chances are if these animals existed they would have already been discovered, yet there still exists an interest and fascination with the mythical that attracts both scientists and tourists and is something that attracts me as much now as it did when I was younger... The world becmes a far more interesting place when there are exciting question marks in it.'

Jamie Stoker is a freelance photographer living and working in his home city of London. Having studied photography at the London College of Communication and University of Brighton, he now operates his own photographic studio and shoots a mixture of portraits and fashion commissions.
