We’re delighted to celebrate Millennium Images contributor Jon Browning, winner of the 2026 Fondation Yves Rocher Photography Award at Visa pour l’Image in Perpignan. The award supports his ongoing project exploring the lives of people who choose to remain in the shadow of active volcanoes.

Based between London and Brighton, Jon brings a documentary eye to people, places and the unexpected details of everyday life. He spent a decade living and working in China, later publishing GLORIOUS!, a photobook exploring the lives of the country’s second-generation wealthy. His Millennium collection combines vivid colour with a keen sense of observation, finding humour, beauty and intrigue in subjects ranging from elaborate interiors to quiet domestic moments.
